Safe Delivery Policy

The Earp Bros delivery service aims to deliver your goods to you as quickly and safely as possible. We do not want to place our drivers, our machinery, you or your property at risk.

The following policy outlines what conditions may affect our ability to deliver your goods to you.

PLEASE NOTE:

  1. We reserve the right to refuse delivery if the conditions or situation is deemed unsafe to access. 
  2. The tyres on our all-terrain forklift may leave a black rubber mark on the surfaces it travels over. This should wear off over time, however, please note we do not return to clean the surface for you.

WE WILL DELIVER TO:

  • A driveway
  • A garage
  • A footpath
  • An underground car park (customer must advise of height restrictions)
  • A loading docks (customer must advise loading dock number in advance)
  • A shipping container/storage facility

WE DO NOT:

  • Hand load/unload under any circumstance
  • Deliver through sliding doors/doorways
  • Deliver onto decks, balconies or patios (concrete or timber)
  • Push or slide the pallet across any surface (if all pallets cannot be safely unloaded by lowering straight down onto the surface, any remaining pallets will be delivered to the next most suitable and safe location)
  • Drive under or through scaffolding
  • Drive down the side of a house/structure unless it is a sealed surface and meets all other requirements of this policy

WE DO NOT DRIVE OVER:

  • Screeded packing sand
  • Steel reinforcing bar - "reo"
  • Sand (bulk)
  • Electrical cables
  • Open or freshly filled trenches
  • Suspended slabs
  • Timber decking
  • 'Green' concrete - The concrete must be greater than 12 weeks old and it is the customer's responsibility to advise if suitable for the loaded all-terrain forklift to traverse the surface (< 6000kg)
  • Paved driveways - It is the customer's responsibility to advise if suitable for the loaded all-terrain forklift to traverse the surface (< 6000kg)
  • Wet pebblecrete on gradients
  • Other people's property (including footpaths)
