Iconic Life.
Ceará to Fiorano.
Iconic.
Iconic Life is a porcelain collection by Florim inspired by the majesty of Taj Mahal quartzite. Its four colour variations move through warm ambers, soft opal, and deep mocha, each with a surface of soft undulating texture and fine veining that shifts with the light.
Available in both gloss and matt finishes across a range of large format sizes.
Provenance.
It begins as sand.
Given enough time, enough weight, enough heat, that sand becomes something else entirely, quartzite, dense and faintly gold, formed over tens of millions of years in the northeast of Brazil.
Taj Mahal quartzite takes its name from a likeness, not a birthplace, the same pale ground, the same fine vein, found in the marble of the mausoleum eight thousand kilometres away.
Florim extends the likeness further. Every colourway carries the name Yamuna, for the river that runs beside the Taj Mahal in Agra.
Rice. Honey. Opal. Moka.
Four colourways, one material logic.
Rice.
The lightest of the four: a soft, warm base with fine, close-set veining. Opens up a space, reflects light, and works as a grounding floor beneath deeper accent tones.
Honey.
A warmer mid-tone, with veining that thickens and drifts diagonally across the slab. Reads as a natural transition point between the lighter and darker interpretations in the range.
Opal.
Cooler and more contrastive, with pronounced mineral banding. Suited to spaces wanting more visual weight without moving into a full dark palette.
Moka.
The deepest tone in the collection: dense veining against a rich, dark base. Used as a feature wall, slat detail or benchtop, it anchors a space the way a natural stone island or fireplace surround would.
Pairing.
Light against dark reads well in this collection: Rice underfoot with Moka as a feature wall or detail, or Honey and Opal combined across adjoining zones. Same veining language, different weight.
Built to endure.
From the Source.
Look closely and the veining shifts, fine mineral threads at one angle, broader sedimentary bands at another. Every tile is engineered from high-resolution scans of natural quartzite, then reproduced across the slab so pattern and tone stay continuous from piece to piece.
Finish and feel.
Offered in gloss and matt finishes with rectified edges, so the surface can move from a reflective, polished floor to a soft, tactile wall application without breaking the material story.
Beyond the floor.
Available in 6mm and 9mm thickness, Iconic Life extends, letting one material carry a bathroom or kitchen from floor to bench without a visible break.
60 Years in the Making.
Closed loop, by design.
Every Iconic Life tile is fired using production water that's fully recovered and waste that's fully reclaimed back into the body of the tile, a closed loop that's been core to Florim's process for over 60 years.
Certified, not just claimed.
Florim is the first ceramic manufacturer in the world to achieve B Corp certification - third-party verification of environmental and social performance most tile brands don't publish at all. Manufacturing is supported by solar power, reducing reliance on the grid across the production cycle.
Made to last.
Non-porous, colour-stable and resistant to fading, scratching and staining: Iconic Life is built to outlast the trends it's designed around, reducing replacement and material turnover over the life of a build.
