A few weeks ago we were proud to partner with and host the University of NSW Interior Architecture 2019 Grad Show, ‘Ctrl Alt+’. Held at our Sydney Showroom it allowed the Bachelor of Interior Architecture (Honours) graduates of UNSW the opportunity to showcase their impressive graduate projects. Our Sydney showroom made the perfect backdrop for the students to display their works, and ultimately, their talent.
The theme of the show was ‘Ctrl Alt+’ which symbolises the idea of transforming cities and urbanisation in a technological world. Students were tasked with transforming Bare Island and the La Perouse Headland within Sydney’s Botany Bay National Park.
The graduate projects displayed an impressive array of unique design solutions that push the boundaries and create better spaces for people and the environment. Throughout the exhibition we were introduced to innovative designs that reinterpret the existing to excite us about the future of Interior Architecture in Australia.
The graduate project is seen as a stepping-stone into the foray of Interior Architecture, a means to investigate the future of the interior within our own cities. We believe the UNSW I-A graduates, who showcased their work at the Earp Bros Sydney showroom, have a very bright future indeed and we are excited to help introduce this alumni into the community of Interior Architecture.
